Full Moon Rising is a ten acre farm surrounded by undeveloped forest land that reaches all the way to Double Bluff that does Summer Camps Whidbey Island . About half the farm is forested, and the rest is pasture, orchard, fenced paddock and vegetable gardens. Eagles, Osprey, Great Blue Herons, Great Horned Owls, a variety of ducks, and Red Tail Hawks fly above. There are deer and coyotes who live in the woods and surrounding pastures.
The land at Full Moon Rising was homesteaded in the late 1890's. Dow Farm was originally 30 acres and raised cattle. There were few trees and reportedly were views of  Mt. Rainier! The farmhouse was built in 1937. The original fence and other artifacts of the original Dow Farm are everywhere.
Join us this summer!
